    Your actually regular travel with a spindle lift. The 5100's arent extended travel shocks.

    FWIW, 4.10's will get you slighty over geard than stock. 4.56 will get you a little more over geard than that.
    Also, having "power to turn the tires" may sound good, and look good on paper, but the engine needs the leverage to overcome the increased rotational mass, as well as the now lower overall gear ratio you now have with taller tires. As jandrews said, gears are more important than all out engine power when turing larger tires.

    You guys talk about regearing like you have a choice in the matter and you can choose any gear ratio you want. Unless things have changed very recently there are only two choices of gears that are made for second gen tacomas, 4.56 and 4.88. Which you choose depends on what you start with. For automatics with the stock 3.73s you can only go to 4:56 unless you buy new carriers in the form of manual truck carriers or ARBs. And for stock 4.91s in the manual trucks you are stuck with 4.88 unless you do a carrier change.

    The carrier difference is between auto and manual and which original gears you have depending on which transmission you have. It has nothing to do with trim level.
