Here I was all disappointed and everything and then you have to kick me while I'm down. Can't a guy dream!

Let me guess, you also don't have a dalmation at the firehouse also.

So I just called and raised hell with my insurance company, who in turn raised hell at the place where my truck is getting appraised. The estimate isn't complete, but there was more significant frame damage than initially thought.

So far I've been told it might cost 8-12k to fix, then maybe its not as bad and in the range of 2-5k, then well, maybe 6-10k, and now the insurance company told me that If there is significant frame damage, they are going to total it.

Damn, my life seems turned upside down with all this. I never imagined the implications. Now I have to start questioning all my beliefs.

At this point, I think it is a matter of just getting something done. The wait and not knowing must be frustrating.

well what kind of fireman does that make you?????? no dalmation, white firetruck, and a 1 story firehouse. are you sure you arent actually a paramedic and the vehicle you ride in isnt an amberlampse? cuz that kinda sounds more fitting..... im just saying ive seen plenty of amberlampses that were white and the call station they came from was a one story building with no dog......

My life has just been changed for the worst. My worst fears realized. I think I'm going to be sick and should just go home.

haha if you want the "real fireman experience" go to station 1 off clinton ave its the only 2 story fire hall in huntsville. they have the pole and an old out of service red fire truck. most of huntsvilles newer trucks are white but the older ones are red. and actually we have a few new trucks joining the fleet soon and theyre going back to a mostly red design. ill try to find a picture to post. still no dalmation though haha sorry to dissapoint you all

If it was one story with a pole, it'd be a shoe show.
