Well, I painted my wheels last night out of boredom.

    updated outdoors picture:

I used two cans of this stuff:

Just scuffed up the clear coat on the wheels a little, sprayed about 5 light coats of the Rustoleum, and called it a night.

I kept the wheels on the truck and covered the brakes and suspension parts with plastic bags to save time.

I think it came out really well.

Can't say unless the wheels are really well lighted, but it looks good from the pictures you posted above. [IMG]

Not bad, better than I would've expected from rattle cans.

Will do! I'll get good pics in about an hour on my lunch break.

Yeah. Long story... basically two guys I know got into a scuffle and fell into the bed and dented it. What you see is my half-ass attempt at fixing it. Body shop wanted to charge me $1100!

Thanks man! The dent was very big and very sharp (deep). I tried getting it pulled at a few different places and they couldnt get it! ended up taking the cubby out of the bed and banging it out. Not very pretty, but definitely looks better than the huge dent that was their before.

Looks alright. I really can't decide if I want to do this or not - I've had the stuff to do it for a while. Sometimes I think they look good painted, and sometimes I think it just makes the truck look old. I almost wish mine weren't in such great shape - it's definitely an option if oyur finish is messed up.

Color match your grill and paint your lower valance black and it'll look really good.

Go for it man. I went into it thinking that if it came out terribly, id have an excuse to buy a new set of rims - but it looks awesome. Very happy with the outcome.

I am going to be getting a color matched 2011 grill here soon - great idea, but no painted valance - i'm not really a huge fan.

    Thanks for the feedback
