I never understood why people shy away from bikes with higher miles, hell there's a guy on sportbikes.net with 200k on his F4i...

I want to get a big boy bike eventually but my little 400 is enough of a money pit as is

Because if it was ragged on hard (usually by stupid kids that dont care) they can ruin a motor....

Now if its used nicely, and taken care of then. Then no problems. They are essentially a mini car motor!

    But you never know.

I passed anyway after looking at pics I found evidence it was down twice, once each side....

HAHAHAH If I had the money!!!!

I mean shoot technically if someone buys it and puts 5 hard miles on it, it can hurt it.

But I rather take the chance with less miles :)

Plus less stuff you have to worry about,

    seals, bearings, forks, etc

If u want to stay in the 4-5k range, dude.... You'll be able to find a nice 05 or newer sport bike for that amount of cash. Check out OhioRiders.net in the classifieds section.. There are a lot of sweet bikes for sale there.

Got my cover on the back of the truck the other day. Got it for $50 on Craigslist brand new in the box.. Couldn't pass it up... It will only be on during the winter, summer months I'll have bikes in the back all the time, but I think it looks good.

    b26f734d_b0b8070617a67341453b7866db581e56c8f56767.jpg

I also fixed my rear seat pull latch.. The damn pull string broke and the seat was locked with some stuff in the back cubbyhole. So, I spent almost 2hrs fishing for that latch releace. I ended up getting it, fixed the problem and now I can use my storage behind the seats again!! WOOT!

    Next mod is rock sliders...

Looks good Brian. Did you ever get those seat covers.

The seat warmers have been nice on the cold mornings, though it hasnt been all that cold lately.

    What a fuckin' day.

96 Accord, 225K, everything I touch fucking breaks.

-Brake lines. Pop a huge leak when innocently shutting the vehicle down.
-H02S broke off in exhaust pipe during attempted removal.(o2 and pipe replaced)
-Plastic Cruise Control lever off throttle body, yup, broke, won't hold the wire in place.
-LF bleeder screw seized, heat, heat, heat...please baby...FUCK! (RF was seized to, it came loose) New Calipers now!
-I swear it's now got a wheel bearing going bad.

    It's insane.

It's been like a hilarious nightmare with the Honda. It's now personal between me and that car. Picking up a set of calipers this morning. I have not said anything about the CC lever, I don't know what I'll do about that.

...And the girl who drives it? Sexy as all holy hell.

You saw a 5 lugger like mine...but not as cool! And it probably didn't even have an awesome, custom, "Tacoma" on the tailgate.

1st off they are knee sliders, not pads! I don't put them on when it's that time of the month! Lol
2nd, they are all warn down! I go thru a set of knee sliders a season. The pair in the pic are warn down about a 1/4 of when they were new.

I like to use sparky sliders... They have titiuiam rods in them so when you drag your knees, sparks fly all over the place.. Looks cool as hell, but most racing clubs ban them.

I ordered some new rear leaf spings last night. I got the All Pro 11 pack set. My stock springs were almost flat and only the add-a-leaf was holding the weight. Also got new shocks and extended brakes lines while everything will be off the rear.

Let me know how that pack works out for ya.. My 05 springs are practically flat also and I am either thinking lift it 2" or new springs??

Will do. I should get them either the end of this week or next week. They are running a pretty good deal until 2/28/12 on allprooffoad.com. They provide the promo code and it's good for 20% off. Ending up saving me $75. They do give you 3 inches of lift.
