did they make rugged trail package without the mountain sticker? i got black fenders, black baja's, skid plate, and locker in my 08 taco. naturally it seems like a rugged trail package. but i also have a normal TRD sticker. previous owner says he didnt change anything. what gives?

Nice looking Truck, I think he probably took the sticker off. Quite a few people dont care for the sticker. But I have an 08 with the mountain pic.

    either...

    A) the sticker was changed by someone

    or

    B) it's a regular offroad and someone blacked the flares, TRD skid, and added the wheels, cuz those tires arent stock either.

Take the VIN to a toyota dealership and they should be able to print off the features that came on it form the factory.

Jhodge has a good point with the VIN. Also Im not quite sure if the Rugged trail came on a Pre runner or not.

    Yes.
Definitely could have been a sticker change. I see a lot for sale that have incorrect stickers...

I am 95% sure they came in 4wd and as a pre-runner. Also, they had chrome rear bumpers. They all came with the TRD package so you should have an outlet in the bed too. Best advice is to take the vin to the dealer. My guess is that its a sticker change. I changed my mtn sticker to a regular old TRD off road from sockmonkey.

The wheels are factory with the Rugged Trail package.

Yes they are in prerunner's too.

Yes, they came chrome, same as the offroads.

I know. I said if the package was built the wheels were added. What I said weren't stock were the tires.

it really does just look like a rugged trail without the sticker. it'd be very strange to see black fenders with a colormatched front bumper, unless with the rugged trail.

Sorry I misunderstood because you said the tires aren't stock "either" after talking about the wheels so it threw me off.
