Estimate of Value?

I am in the midst of trading my truck. If this is in the wrong category, my appologies.
Interested in an opinion of value:
2010 xtra/access cab 4x4 4 cyl 5speed ~26K miles
pretty clean, some bed scratches from being used as a truck, a decent scratch on tailgate from a wheelbarrow...seat covers used since practicly new..
factory floor mats still have tags on em..etc
w. color matched leer cap that aint perfect
stealer offer @ $18.5

 

Back in Sep I traded in my 06 4x4 SR5 DC w/ 65k that needed brakes & tires and had no topper for $17.5. This was in Massachusetts.

 

yes i wouldn't take anything less than 23.5. thats me.

 

did you check Kelly Blue Book? $22k would seem like a fair private party value. $19k for trade in.

This will give you an idea of where to start. I used this to sell my tundra, got the offer, went to the participating dealer and walked out with a check. Then went to the dealer of my choice and spent the check and a bit more.

It's only my .02 , but a ex or dc without that 4.0. I'm not interested, don't care what the price is. But I can see where the use is for a truck setup like that, you'll have wait for the right buyer for the most money. Glws

 

I went out of my way to get the 2.7L. The market may be smaller for them but some people want the 4 cylinder.

OP, I have a very similar truck (1 year older, otherwise the same). FWIW I paid $24k Canadian last year when the truck had ~25k miles on it.

for a 4 cylinder? i just purchased same truck brand new for 24k. I think you might be mistaken....

 

based on what they are going for at auction, $18.5 sounds like a solid deal. Just remember you probably only paid 23-24ish brand new 3 years ago. So at 18500 they have to sell it for 21500, which means they listed it for at least 22500. Ask yourself, would you pay 21500 for a three year old truck that you could purchase brand new for 24?
