Brian now i know you didn't use a map, it wasn't cool if you stopped and got a map or directions. We would end up riding around for hours lost and still wouldn't buy one. haha

I think it's personal preference more then anything. I used flat black high heat bbq spray paint. After a year, the guy I sold them to says they are still in great condition. The paint don't have to deal with the elements outside, do to being sealed inside. So any paint should work.

the krylon fusion is very easy to apply since it is made for plastic. makes for very smooth coats that you can do many light coats in to get a very deep look from.

Cool cool!!! Idk Im kinda torn between flat or a semi-gloss. Pretty much everything that is black on my truck is plastiderped so it has kind of a flat black look. David can you post a pic of yours with the flat? Iv been looking around but most that Iv seen has been a gloss.

Jab I used and Justin used Satin Black. It doesn't have to be for plastic but it helps.. But be warned.. Justin had kind of a hard time with the Satin clear coat.. So I would get regular clear coat.. Always allow ample amount of time to dry also..

i didnt have any troubles with the satin clear..... just had to put it on in thicker coats cuz if you try doing the thin coats it makes it look like its got glitter on it. live and learn i guess.

Put what should be the final coat of bondo on just a few minutes ago. If everything sands out well, just need to put the mounts for the mesh on, prime and paint. Might be ready by Wednesday.

I didn't even use a clear coat on my lights. Just 3 coats of flat black.
