Drive shaft

Does anyone know if these trucks have grease gun fittings on the D.S.? I have a 2005 Pre-Runner A/C. In the mornings when I put my truck in (R) I get this squeak/rubbing noise. When I,m coasting backwards I will throw it in (N) while still rolling back and it will go away. Also what I have noticed that after driving the truck for a bit,I can put it in (R) and no noise. The truck never does this in (D). Only while going backwards in (R) first thing in the morning. Cold or warm days.

I'm wondering if its the carrier bearing?

AFAIK, 4x4 = yes. Pre-Runner = No.

 

Maybe just the brakes rubbing or something. Doubt its that serious if you only get it for a few feet of the first drive after it sitting overnight. I'd be more concerned if you could repeat it at any given time during the day.

i thought it was only the trd offroads had the greasable drive shafts not just 4x4's?

 

My 4x4 std has zerks.

 

maybe its all 4x4 and then the trd offroad prerunner? im pretty sure the offroads have zerks
