Damn right... Looking forward to another ride. If things don't pan out soon... I have another idea... See below....

Haha... Maybe if it's your birthday!!!

I just got home from work. I'll head out there tomorrow am if that's cool. I can bring my new spring compressor for you to check out. I picked it up last week. It's pretty slick. Old but solid. Has a hand crank that gives quite a bit of torque! No need to buy one if you want to use mine.

After checking out Chase's hidden front hitch... I'm thinking it is so the way to go Davey! If my spare ride doesn't pan out... I will follow y'alls footprints... I mean tire tracks!

I'll be doing the lift on a lift at the hobby shop on base. They have a spring compressor. The lift makes it so much easier than working on the ground.
The front receiver I can do at a meet. It'll mean the end of my front skid plate though.

Hopefully, we can put the winch to use soon. I look forward to the next wheeling trip. It will take two weeks for the money, a few weeks for shipping, and a couple days for the install. Then it's dirt time!

    Check build in sig.
    Sounds like a plan john.

Dave- if you are going to do a multi-mount like what i am planning you might want to add synthetic line to the winch cause it will have some weight to it. I also got most of my stuff from Amazon

Weight don't scare me. I'm going to kill the cable, then switch to synthetic. I will get some extra synthetic cable extensions and tree savers when money allows.

Gotta get a winch to start with. I know the value of the synthetics, though. Thanks for the reminder!

Got some DTLT's, the ceramic was bad around the flanges as you can see.
After a lot of sanding, Naval Jelly (works wonders on rust), Dremeling, etc....I got some high temp ceramic paint and sprayed it down (torched it between coats a bit)
It's in the oven for the second time now!
