Actually I did this back around 500 miles and don't think I mentioned it....check the LUG NUT TORQUE ON YOUR MAG WHEELS! About 2 nuts of each wheel were not tight. I just did a minor torque check with a 4 way lug wrench and found that the lug nuts were not all evenly tight. I have a torque wrench but did not even use it because I KNEW I was only checking for EXCESSIVE 'looseness' on my new truck's wheels. Now I wished I had used the torque wrench because some here might think I didn't know how tight the lug nuts should be....just heed my advice and CHECK your new trucks wheel lug nuts.
YES, USE a TORQUE WRENCH for proper tightening if you have one but the lug nuts on several of my wheels were almost loose enough to finger spin! [ok, not that loose but not up to 'spec'].
Anyone else notice this on a new Taco?

When I removed my rear wheels a few weeks ago to put on my air bags they did seem a little loose.

Any time anyone other than me touches my lug nuts, I always loosen them and retorque to spec as soon as I get home.

the loose ones on mine must have been about 30 or 40 ft lbs....just guessing but I know they could have worked loosed from where they were!

You need a torque wrench to check it

Set if for 10 lbs less than the spec it's supposed to be. If the nut turns before it clicks [click type torque wrench] then you know it was less than spec.
Just take a 'regular' lug nut wrench and put mild torque on the nuts, it's easy to tell if any are TOO loose.
Best advice is still to use someone's torque wrench.
