The Gov. Of Florida's wife is accross the street from my house ( her parents house) and the Secret Service has been backed in thier driveway for days now. Kinda freaky. Every time i go outside the binoculars come up. Spent allot of time detailing my truck this weekend and they watch every move i make. Ever feel like your being watched?

Go buy some cheap white sheets from wal-mart. Then splatter it with red Kool-Aid and Ketchup, rub it in real well to make sure it is stained red and looks like blood, then when it is trash day, put them at the curb, plainly visible.

The are not the USSS. They are more than likely State Police. The USSS does not protect any Being outside of the President and the Vice President, not even Diplomats, this is most likely training a new group or Private Body Guards. Keep them entertained. Go ask them if they need anything? coffee doughnuts, hamburger, smoke.

This is VERY inaccurate. Yes they protect the POTUS and the POTUS family and the VP and yes they do not protect diplomats, but every time some foreign VIP, be it a politician or not, comes to the U.S., the SS WILL at their discretion offer 24/7 security while that person is on US soil.

Also, since RFK assassination, the SS will protect presidential candidates. In fact Pres Obama had so many threats, the Pres Bush authorize SS protection to then Senator Obama, long before he was the front runner!

    From their site, they protect:

The president, the vice president, (or other individuals next in order of succession to the Office of the President), the president-elect and vice president-elect
The immediate families of the above individuals
Former presidents and their spouses for their lifetimes, except when the spouse remarries. In 1997, Congressional legislation became effective limiting Secret Service protection to former presidents for a period of not more than 10 years from the date the former president leaves office
Children of former presidents until age 16
Visiting heads of foreign states or governments and their spouses traveling with them, other distinguished foreign visitors to the United States, and official representatives of the United States performing special missions abroad
Major presidential and vice presidential candidates, and their spouses within 120 days of a general presidential election. As defined in statute, the term "major presidential and vice presidential candidates" means those individuals identified as such by the Secretary of Homeland Security after consultation with an advisory committee consisting of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the minority leader of the House of Representatives, the majority and minority leaders of the Senate, and one additional member selected by the other members of the committee.
Other individuals as designated per Executive Order of the President
National Special Security Events, when designated as such by the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security

    That's hilarious.
