Why would you go over the frame?? seems like it would smack the frame after a jump..

and the longer shackles make sense, especially for LT guys to get that massive droop. Just not a DD lifted truck haha

    My LEDs are from SuperBrightLEDs.

They were an easy install and I quite like them. Of course they don't project really but they are pretty stinking bright.

Next project is my headlights. I either need to replace the assembly or put a whole lot of elbow grease into cleaning them up.

Anyone have any insight into the random wire i found under my hood?

long shackles over the frame keep the shackle from folding in on full droop and causing binding. Also making for a larger swing arch for the springs to work with on compress and droop. Should make more smoother travel. Believe me I know all about it that why I might try spring over with my TC 12" shackles over the frame.

Edit: over the frame keeps the ride height down while having the effects of a long shackle.

I had a headlight go out last night. I was looking for the Sylvania bulbs that throw light supposedly 50% further. Can anyone help me out with a number?

This truck is a work truck - not a lot of fancy mod's here, but it's getting the job done!
Autozone or Napa or Oreilly's (whoever carries them) will be able to tell you what that number is - I don't remember the number, but I just went in and asked which one of the sylvania's would fit...

for true white - look to be about 4100 lumens - more will start to turn blue and purple and actually be less bright... less will look yellow to orange and also throw less light.

Lumens is the amount of light output it has. Temperature is the color.

My bad - whatever its called, I know that being around 4100 will give you whiter light that higher or lower - higher turns blue to purple while lower turns yellow to orange...

thanks though for the correction - what is it called BTW?
