Eternal, is that a well worn Dan Wesson?

It sure looks well worn, this photo was taken right after I finished the "2k Challenge" (no lube or cleaning for 2,000 rounds).

The finish is ionbond, and looked brand new after I cleaned and lubed it, there is only small signs of wear from kydex holsters and thumb safety.

Eternal, yep, looks great! I shoot lead, so I don't think any of my 1911s could make 2k without getting gummed up. Were you shooting lead or jacketed bullets? Was I right about it being a Dan Wesson?

I just got a remingtion R1 1911, I really like it. No issues to report and at less than 600 bones at a sportsmans show I thought it a steal.

Congrats on your new 1911. Sounds like a good price. What's it like shooting in AK?

Yes, sorry. It is a DW Valor with a few changes.
I shoot FMJ reloads, I definitely do not think I could do it with lead.

Lol it's just colder. I don't shoot when it's below zero. So I haven't shot in 3 months. Heat waves comin' though! Supposed to get to 20 degrees next week! Woot!

Here is mine. Just changed the grips and the retention screws. Grips were a b-day present from the wife. she did the inset herself.
