Lowered 4x4's

Custom tacos had a good run, but since have died off pretty much. more info can be found around here anyways.

 

I was just looking at a thread about a lowered red 4x4.

Yeah, I like this site alot more. Its more geared towards the 2nd gens too.

And everyone, don't get me wrong... I like lifted trucks too. Lifted or lowered is fine with me, im not one track minded

I think you're under the mistaken impression that I intend to listen at all.

 

Probably had a girl he liked complain it was too hard to get into.

I always thought it would be cool to lower a 4x4 toyota with a physically fit hamster under the hood. Like sport truck style, but 4 wheel drive, or better yet AWD / center diff t-case. It will probably be a project I never start, and the platform I had in mind was a 2nd gen pickup, but there are more reasons to drive all your wheels than off-roading. I can't offer any help specifically with the tacoma, how much drop are you considering?

But yeah, I agree on the FJ. I think they are hideous as it is so that doesnt make it any better.

 

Not much at all. A leveling kit lifts the front to level it with the back.. not how about a leveling kit the lowers the back to match the front. Kinda thought that would be cool.
