I did it again. Got tired of paying truck payments and gas and traded in for a 2015 Honda Accord Sport since I enjoyed my 2013 Sport so much.
    Check your math.

This may have already been answered, but I'm too lazy to read the thread:

OP, how is oil consumption at that mileage? I have a Corolla just shy of 200k, it eats about a quart of oil every 2500 miles or so...not too bad. Still runs like a top and has never required anything but maintenance though...can't complain.

Wondering how my 4.0L is gonna do under the same circumstances...only about a 10th of the way there at the moment though...

honestly give me lots of hope! Thank you sir gnyla! I can't wait to see the 300k mark once you hit it. Toyota still states that these trucks will and should have no problem seeing 300k miles. I love our trucks!

    You'll be surprised.

F-150 with that mileage are not uncommon here. They are built like tank.

I don't think door handles on an F-150 would last to 150,000. I'm sure it'd make it to 300k, but it won't be pretty.

There was a 2005 DCLB Tacoma in the local classifieds a couple of weeks ago with 411 000km (or 255 000miles). Asking price was $6900, so probably wasn't a typo. This thread and that ad are very encouraging as I'm planning to keep this truck as a daily driver for the next 10 years. Currently at 110k km or 68k miles.

    Seriously?

Dude, why would I do that?

Most of those miles have been put on in pursuit of taking photographs across the southwest. Photography is my hobby, the truck is a tool to get me there. So, I have very high end camera equipment and know how to use it, so I am sorry that the photo is "far too clear". I had planned and practiced for that moment.

How about this quick snapshot taken this morning while my truck was warming up after I read this?

Hey I stand corrected. I apologize. The picture looks so clear, especially at 75mph with a dead even mileage that is extremely high. Can't blame a brother for being skeptical!
