2005 headlights visually different then 2008?

Im gonna buy some used 2005 headlights today from a local guy and plan on doing the bhlm. I know they will fit ok but visually they seem different. The feflector or signal seems a little bit different. Can anyone confirm if thereis a difference? Looks like the signal has a yellow tint on the 05

 

i've read on the forum before that they changed the color between years. i'm trying to find it for ya.

 

Yes, some have yellow film, some dont. I think they stoped in 2008 with the yellow film and just put in bulbs. I have seen some 2008 tho with yellow tint. It just varies from truck to truck.
The fit will still be the same 05-11. Only difference is the tint.
