Yup, I live downtown like a block from all the bars and homeless shelters. About 50% of people are on something after 2pm, and everyone by 7pm.

 

There's a 'new' drug kicking around here now called 'bath salts'. Apparently it gives a high like meth but the side effects are suicidal tendencies that can occur days after the high.

5 guys just ended up in the hospital from trying to kill themselves apparently

I've heard of that, not too big here. Fort Mac's all about the cocaine cause everyone has money. They switch to crack once they go broke. all the kids are on extacy and ketamin (some kinda tranqualizer).

Those are our major issues. but we still have pot n stuff, just not super prominent here.

So happy I'm not a drug addict!

 

They are dealing with the synthetic pot here in Iowa. It is apparently some pretty nasty stuff, much worse side affects than actual pot.

Not really interesting now, more or less a version of cops. Arrested a kid for stealing a truck, pulled over a few drunk drivers

 

We've got a store here that sells some kinda synth pot, my buddy swears by it cause you can pass a drug test on it. He gets high and drives 4 story haul trucks all day

there have been some kids that have died from smoking it here. Pot is illegal here, but this stuff is sold as an incense at convenience stores
