.....so like most tacoma owners(mine is a 2010 DCLB sport). im getting a nice tax check and want to blow it on my truck. cant decide how i want it to look.

i know i want Fiberwerx fenders and bedsides.

and i need better more aggressive tires

eventually i will get shocks but for right now im trying to do a budget build.

the look im going after is Stadium truck/Trophy truck look.

i was thinking of doing a spindle lift with either 255/80-17's or 285 70 17's.

but i really dont want my truck all that much bigger.

i was thinking of somehow lowering the rear end a little(like 2 inches to make sit level or a little lower in the rear).

running wheel spacers to make stock wheels push out a little further, and running as big as a tire that i could stuff in there.

anybody have any ideas or seen anyone do anything like this? or have any recommendations on what i should get?

wait.... you want a spindle lift in the front. and you want to drop the rear end 2 inches.

so you want the front of your truck 6 inches higher than the rear????

sorry i meant i was origianally going to do spindles.... then thought of keeping it stock to keep the height the same so it would resemble the low profile of a stadium truck. stock front lower the rear a couple inches.

Ok that makes more sense. If you want to run bigger tires, I would suggest spindles and lifting the back a tiny bit, maybe use a 1" block. Just my opinion.

this setup will give you some bro lean.

so everything your going to be doing to your truck is for looks correct? it wont go off road?

if your not planning on stuffing 35s or going long travel, i would NOT get fiberglass fenders and bedsides. just looks plain stupid in my opinion. your truck can look really good with a 3 inch lift in the front, a 1.5-2 inch in the rear with wheels and 33s.

why not save up....so it right and go full long travel? Otherwise, I have to admit that will look funny if it is a conventional suspension...

i dont think this truck will be used off road. so throwing 10k+ into long travel is pretty out of the question....

Heres mine with fiberwerx all around. 4" spindles, coilovers with 0" of preload to stay low just like you want yet wide, deaver 1.5" lift pack in the rear with fox piggybacks. also running spidertrax wheel spacers in the front. the tires are 35s
after getting the spindles and taking out all the preload in the coilovers they have sorta sagged and lost some height. i would say im at about 2-3" higher in the front and back is 1.5" but looks level with the TT bump on the fenders
    [IMG]

same setup just with the old bumper and black bedsides
    [IMG]

edit: with my setup it fills in the 6" fenders really nicely without looking goofy like most other trucks without LT and fenders

the only off roading it will be doing is pulling up to the track to unload my bike. maybe an occasional Ocotillo or Beaumont trip....but again to just park the truck and unload the bike.

im just thinking of options out there.....seems like everyone does the 285's and a spindle lift. i kinda like the 285's but not really. im not completely sold on that look. if i buy spindles i cant afford to glass it at the same time. Fiberwerxs is $1250 front and back with installation plus paint. about the same price as spindles.

Option 1. Spindles and 1.25 spiderwoks wheel spacers, and either 255/80-17's or 285/70-17's..... i dont want my tires to stick out past my stock fenders if i do this route so im not sure what to get......then eventually save more and glass it and get Fox shocks.

Option 2. Fiberwerxs front and rear.... wheel spacers. lower rear end couple inches. and try to figure out what is the biggest tire i can stuff in there.

BTW...anybody have a link to that white trucks build? wondering what size tires on it.
