    Really? after seeing all the Moab vids with jeeps id get the 4 door hands down to get the longer wheel base. With a lift and 33 or 35s they did everything easier then the 2 door version.

    :laugh: well thats a good excuse to get one! haha

    Not sure if I will have time with all the other stuff going on. Wouldn't mind it but I still need to find another 5 or six trails and organizing for 125 vehicles, 225 people and 5 days of riding is already taking a toll.

    The "switszerlandish" coments are from Me and a friend giving another friend a buch of crap on facebook. Ben referenced it with his "fook" comment. If you were not afraid of FB you would know that. :crapstorm:

    OUCH! See, you should have been down here playing in the snow with us. :)

    I think MOAB does favor the longer wheelbase. However, for around here I feel the better roll-over angle and the shorter turning radious can be very helpful up on some of the old jeep trails we mostly run in this area. Don't get me wrong....I prefer the 4 door. I like the stability on the highway and the additional storage space. However, when doing the switchbacks on the Morrison Jeep Trail or climbing the big rock obsticals on McKilvey the short version would have less issues. Morrison was the worst and I really wished I had a SHORT Jeep on those days. I have bought two of the 4 doors now though and have to admit, other than on Morrison JT, I prefer them. Heck...just wheel whatever gets you there.

    Always a possibility. The trail did not open this last summer until late August. Too much snow. That trail is actually quite easy with the exception of those switchbacks, but it is VERY VERY scenic.

    I would never had done those switches if I had been alone. A darn good place to have an experianced ground guide.

    Had a bear run through my camp one night and another sleeping next to the road the next morning. lol It was a great trip summer before last. Wanted to go again this last summer but it never came together.

    And he makes the BEST rear bumper for 1st gens IMO with the fully plated wrap arounds. Mine is gonna be the first tire gate he ever does so it'll be pretty interesting...im looking forward to it :D

    This might be too much to ask for this time of year...But why not dream about it..


    I want to test out some new stuff this weekend. I got a water filtration system, a new boiling pot, a new fly line for my fly rod, and just need to get my truck back out there.

    Is there any place that doesn't have a ton of snow this time of year that will allow me to take my truck on a mild trail to a cool creek or something?

    I know there is Rock Creek, but last time I went there it was really icy and I was literally sliding down hills. Made me nervous :)

    I want to make it a day trip. Ideas?? :) Thanks!
