    Law just says they have to be DOT approved or meet DOT regulations. Only DOT regulation I could find was that they have to be visible from 500ft in the daylight.

    apparently it is illegal in pa to drive with out a tailgate...


    can't drive a vehicle with out its doors unless it was manufactured to have (easily) removable doors. and a tailgate some how counts...

    I would bet a piece of rope would qualify as a "door" for the tailgate.

    Or a 2nd gen taco, it's tailgate is easily removable :laugh:
