best lift brand/company?

hey guys, i have a 1999 tacoma 2.7 4cyl 4wd and i'm in the market for a lift. i would like a 3" spacer and AAL complete lift! I want a complete package. nothing left out. i don't do any hard core offroading so i don't need a crazy expensive lift. i guess what im asking is, what is a rly reliable, complete lift that won't give me driveline vibes or cause any major problems down the road?

thanks ahead of time guys! and yes i've searched and searched and read articles and other threads and all that. just looking for proffesional opinion.

Bilstein 5100's for what you are doing, try to avoid spacers.

Yea, Fox, Icon, King, etc will be your higher end stuff. OME and Toytec has some nice kits that are more affordable. I'd go with 5100's up front instead of spacers, as suggested above.

 

You are bound to have some issues once you go for 3" lift, if you want to lift that much expect to have some driveline vibes. Not everyone gets them but dont think you wont. There are a few fixes for this, CB drop, Axle shims, etc... This all from I've gathered from looking into lifts for the 2nd Gen but Im pretty sure same principle applies for the 1st Gen.

 

Thanks guys. so what about this?? i like OME as i have their lift on my Jeep cherokee and love it. rly good company to work with. will i need anything else with this lift??new longer shocks or extended brakelines or anything?? jw and if i add 1.5" wheel spacers all the way around think i can fit 33's??

Definately get new shocks with that kit. Your stock shocks aren't valved to properly dampen the stiffer spring. You can fit the 33's with some trimming if you run the wheel spacers.
