like a few of you i missed out on the group buy well newho just a heads up for those of you still looking for kits i came across ddmtuning.com $70 single beam slim ballast hid kits and bi-xenon kits for $25 more and 55w kits for $15 more w/ lifetime warranty. Im going to pick up a hid kit for my commuter car and the gf's car so yea just passing on the info.

DDMtuning reviews can be found just google them they sell on bmw forums as sponsors so yea :)

Also dont flame me im just passing on the info on some kits i found, i will always try and support TW sellers and sponsors but i missed out on the GB so

I would advise anyone you wants to buy a DDM kit not to. They are prone to ballast failure and many times the company gets your order wrong. Although they have a lifetime warranty, the company doesn't tell you that you have to pay shipping back to China for them. So if the company messes up your order or your parts fail a couple times, well, that's enough money to buy another DDM kit.

If you thinking I'm lying, I can get you a couple responses from people who bought these kits and had issues.

Sure thing. Here are some accounts:

"I recently purchased the 8k's with 35W ballast from them. I installed them and found out it didnt look blue at all when its suppose to based from the K's chart. I called them up and they said each and every company is different for manufacturing their bulbs. So that means that their 8k's may look similar to 6k's rather. So i'm like ok, I went and purchase an 10k kit for myself and gave the 8k to a friend since I really want the blue/purple look. It arrived and I installed it but what you know it looks JUST like the previous 8k's or more of 6k's then the actual 10k's haha

as of now all i can say is DDM tuning are cheap with their kits but they just dont deliver what you want for retrofits and there are NO labels at all on their bulbs, god knows how the hell they keep track of what they're giving us."

"So I just received my DDM hid kit with 8k's bulbs and 35w ballast. I plugged them in and everything looks great. But after a short while of driving around to test it out.. the output of the lighting looks more like 6k's rather than 8k's. The odd thing about it is that when I turn them off for a while and turn them back on, once its starting it starts from the nice blue colour your suppose to get but afterwards it turns into the white/blue 6k's colour. So I'm just wondering if anyone else got this problem from DDM hid kits? I believe it should be pure blue, not purple/blue like 10k's but close enough.

I email them but no response yet."
