The Satoshi will probably take an entire weekend to complete, if you are counting the time for epoxy/fiberglass resin/paint, etc to dry and cure. I've been about 75% completed with mine for the last 2 months. :turtleride:

In the back of my mind, I'm still thinking that I need to paint the radiator and relocate the horns to really complete the project. It's a bit of work but should be a very satisfying mod.

I have already relocated my horns, and mounted the light bar and ran the wires. I left the lights off for now because there is no point in having them in behind my normal grill. The wiring is just little spade connectors so they can come on and off. I'm gonna be painting the radiator next week, and painting my mesh.

I was thinking of doing the method with cutting out a piece of plastic out of the scrap inner grill, and using epozy to mold it into the open space. Then just paint it and mount it later if I have too.

Nice! I have the Elusive light bar but waiting to mount it. Haven't run the wires - waiting to install the Blue Sea fuse panel first. Got the factory Tacoma fog light switch as well. Looks like I will be painting my radiator, relocating my horns and completing the satoshi this weekend. Got my mesh ready to go.

I did the method you are referring to. It works really well. I tried my best to make a reduced depth satoshi. I'm just a lazy ass and the mostly finished grill has been staring at me from the garage for a couple months.

A great idea.... If possible, would sure appreciate a Sunday get-together as I work on Saturdays. Hope that doesn't sound selfish. I would kick in some food for the event.

This sounds amazing!! YellowDart - could you check with your boss and throw a couple of dates you are willing to host this? That might start the next step - I think this is worth doing!! Let's move this from dialogue to happening!!

I'm good for whatever. I'm starting to think somebody should just make an executive decision on the date or post up two different dates and see which one works the best for the most amount of people. Brett, i'm thinking you should be the one to decide because we are going to do this at your place...
