Now this confuces the whoo out of me! How does one human being determine the level of faithfulness of another? Isn't that Judging others? I believe the bible sates in many versus that we should not judge others, but do good by them and God will judge them! Anyone?

Seeking answers to Mormon beliefs in an ESV Bible is like seeking Toyota maintenance intervals from Ford. And that is in no way a knock on the ESV Bible, rather a question as to why you would you go to a non-Mormon source for information on Mormon beliefs?

 

The pedophilia happens in the FLDS church. Huge difference between FLDS and LDS. FLDS leader claims to be a profit and makes everyone do what he says for his own benefit. Also, FLDS are isolationists. LDS is present in every corner of the world.

Second, not sure if you are aware but people in a pyramid scheme get paid at some point. NO LDS CHURCH LEADER RECEIVES PAYMENT. The people who receive money from the LDS are people who CAN'T HELP THEMSELVES. Unlike the American welfare program were people who don't want to do anything receive money for votes. And by people who can't help themselves I mean, among others, people in impoverished areas like kids who wish to go to school but they nor their families can't pay for it.

I'm not a fan of bashing other peoples faiths, but from what I've seen 99% of the time, LDS members live their faith. Unlike others that I've been around. And that's just among who I've been around, I'm not going to condemn every member of religion for the short-comings of a few.

Deuteronomy 4:2, Deuteronomy 12:32. I think this is what you are looking for. Many things have been added and taken away. Compare a Catholic Bible to a KJ. Nothing in the King James about the Pope. Look up the Council of Nicea, the Bible is not all that was written. The Bible is what was standardized. Also, one can make anything say what one wants when taken out of context. Looking at one or two words here or there and using that to describe the whole is like taking a ten year period of the earths existence and using it to prove that man is causing the temperature to rise.

Why do Mormons specifically go after and target the most impressionable group of people to join their church. 16-20 year old young men. They then ship them, typically, over seas to separate them from their friends and family, for two years, which makes them even more vulnerable.

Why do Mormons own companies that require their employees to work on Sundays when the religion as a whole does not believe in working on Sundays.

Why did Joseph Smith wait 18 years to report to anyone that he had been visited by Jesus and God. (Church claims this visitation happened in 1820, Smith doesn't mention it until 1838)

Why does the book of Mormon mention these plant species as "flourishing" during the Nephite period and yet archaeologists have never found a trace of any of them. Even tho they have found things thousands of years older.

Again, no fossil or anything has even been found of these animals.

The religion itself is one of the richest religions in the world. Why? Why do they require even their poorest members to pay the tithing and then kick them out of the church when they can not.

Why are only LDS members allowed in the temples? When people get married family members who are not LDs members are not allowed into to the temple to see the union.

I studied Mormonism as a kid and joined their church for several years. I only got out right before my baptism when everything seemed to be so fraudulent to me. I did however lose two of my best friends to the church who were both 16 and 17 and desperately impressionable. I tried several different religions and have ended up pretty much just hating organized religion.
