    Yes. Yes, it is. Rainbow.

Yea, it was huge. My best friend went to Arkansas and caught a 31" brown a couple years ago, and that was the biggest trout I've ever seen personally, when he brought it back to have it mounted...this is the biggest one I've ever seen caught...definitely the biggest around here.

I own property in a subdivision, so I have access to the "Common Lot" close to where this one was caught. We hop in and wade waaaaay upstream and waaaaay downstream. But when people float the river here, if they put in upstream, they HAVE to float by where he caught this one. There is a TON of fishing pressure on this spot during the warmer months, that's why we go when it gets cold.

We went again this evenin. Didn't get any pictures, but I caught 5, all small guys, and he caught 7 or 8, but one was 19". The last 5 or 6 trips I've been, someone has caught a 18"+ fish.

Here's a better pic of his monster trout above ^^. Taken right after he caught it, so there's more light and my flash didn't wash out the color of the fish...

85okhai, you've got me beat. Here's one I caught minutes after snorkeling around some reefs off cozumel, Mexico, a few years ago. We saw quite a few while we were scuba and snorkeling. They are pretty intimidating when you see them underwater.

Yeah I was so astounded when I saw a really big barracuda I started pulling my wife towards it. Luckily he had other items on the menu because we were within 5 feet of him for what felt like 10 minutes. This one lucked like the junkyard dog of barracuda too!!!!

Might take a trip to Fl to visit my wife's aunt and grandmother. Better believe that I will bring my fishing pole and tackle box. She seems a little more reluctant since I told her that I was going to squeeze in some fishing. Don't worry I will post pics.........

Must be nice to live where there is a better than 1 per person per day limit on redfish...and we have an 18"-28" slot limit also.

haha Thanks. Usually we target speckled trout for saltwater. If its a bad day, or a really good day and we limit out on trout, we will hit the reds. We can only keep 1 over 27" and a 16" minimum (5 per person)... I dont like keeping a red over 20". Pain in the ass to clean.
