here are some pics i took the other day.

Ignore my terrible technique. This was my first fs 180 off this season, and to spin i decided it would be best if i opened up like a kite and kicked my legs and board around and keep my upper body in the same spot
    [IMG]

As you can see i landed (barely) switch but my upper body was still in goofy stance, so not only did it look weird, but it was a sketchy landing.

This one was weird. I came at it dead set on doing a fs bs, but something was lost in translation between my mind and my board and i hopped on but didn't spin. However i ended up landing on perfectly centered and doing a very clean 50/50

I have an Arbor Element. I love it. Its definitely an all mountain board but i used to ride park and pipe on it too until I got my park boards. Now I ride all mountain on park boards. If theres more than 10" of powder I use my arbor. Unfortunately that means it doesn't get used much.

This year I picked up a NeverSummer SL 153 and its sweet. Rides all mountain like my arbor but rides park like my lib tech and gnu.

this is all i have to say about that.

well guys. i had fun friday night and saturday.(sat was my birthday) i hit my first jump friday night. not meaning to. it was not groomed much. i landed than caught an edge and face planted. i wiped out pretty hard sat. i was doing about 35 and went to slow down with toe side edge and back edge hit a pile of snow(wear someone wiped out) and i fell on back hit head(need to get a helmet) and flipped like that a few times. hurt my right shoulder.

up side. i’m doing allot better than i ever have before. still got allot to improve on. like heal side turns/stopping and getting off the damn lift. lol(stomp pad will help)

Went boarding Saturday and Sunday. My new Von Zipper Fishbowls are freaking amazing. Changes how i board. Also, practiced some new stuff on this sweet jib they had. was a giant metal ball, looked like an old wrecking ball, buried halfway in the snow with lips leading up to it on all four sides. First attempt was just a stall then rode back down. Second was a backside 180 spin on top and dropped down switch. Funniest job I've ever rode. Then of course all the normal rails, rainbows, boxes, and kickers. Weather ws perfect. Rode In a t shirt both days. Best trip in a loooong time.

I have a Jon Boyer 163. Built in 1995. I have ridden about 250 days on it. Have not been in 5 years though. Used to live in vail, co and I started everyday on the slopes. was one of the best times in my life. Great sport. Nothing like standing at the top of Sundown Bowl on a 8 inch powder day and having the the mountain to yourself for the morning. Long live powder days

Arbor is pretty bad ass. They also have a great warranty. I ride an Arbor Push, and very happy with it. Used to ride Burton, but too much chatter with speed. That may have changed with recent boards.
Burton does create a lot of hype and are pricey, but I've had a couple pairs of bindings and wont go back. Maybe cause I a girl, but their women specific gear is right on!

Ahhhh.. thank you! I remembered seeing someone post a Lib tech board I liked and couldnt remember the name or anything. I was looking up lib techs this morning and was pretty sure that was it. I'm diggin that board alot. Was looking for a new board for next season.. it was either gonna be a lib tech or a forum, but i think I may just stick with my Dominant for now. Its been doin great so far.

The Canyons in Park City is ok. Pretty mellow terrian, but (if everything is open) you'll cruise over bridges and right next to people ski homes. Has a cool feel, plus getting over to the lift ticket office from the parking lot is neat.

If you're in that area for awhile, I suggest Little Cottonwood and/or Big Cottonwood Cayon, outside of SLC. Theres three bad ass resorts to choose from, and if you ski, then four. Hopefully it snows for you, where ever you go!
