Boss just said he wasn't impressed with Ted's, small sandwich for large price. His specific words, "a krystal size sandwich for $7".

I'm in Montevallo, myself. Not that far from you. Me and a few others will be convoying up to the meet, if you would like to join us on our run up there.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I am not sure what route I will be taking. I may be picking up a friend. She lives in Hoover, so Montevallo would not be the route I will be taking. Once I get a confirmaition of yes or no I will get back with you. Thanks!:mudding:

By the way, just as a bit of info for those who live nearby. I own my own shop in Marion, Alabama. Marion Bumper2Bumper Automotive, LLC. I am an ASE recertified master tech with over 20 years experience. If anyone needs technical advice or information, feel free to message me here on in a PM. I have access to all of Mitchell, and my shop runs on Mitchell's Teamworks software. I would be glad to help out with things.

well we are actually going to meet up in fultondale. unless you take a crazy route to huntsville from birmingham you kinda have to pass fultondale. we are more than happy to have one more in the caravan. I'll be leading the way, my name is Justin, you can feel free to pm me if you have any questions or we can give ya our phone numbers if you would like to call us with any questions. but as of now the plan is to meet at the mcdonalds right off of walkers chapel road exit (#267 on I65) a little before 8 a.m. because at 8 sharp we are rollin out. i believe most of us are gonna try to get there early so we can eat breakfast together. we are kinda saying to try and let us know by the 9th if you are plannin to make it so we know who to watch out for.

Ok so in prep of doing the BHLM I decided to tint my corner lights. Well Im just gonna go ahead and throw it out there DO NOT EVER USE RUSTOLEUMS VERSION OF VHT!!!!!!!!!!! STUFF IS STRAIGHT UP S#*T!!!!!!! Now with that out of the way Ill explain a little bit of why I have come to that conclusion. At fist I went step by step according to this thread. http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/lighting/84694-how-tinting-tail-lights-right-way-pics.html
So after about 30 min worth of sanding I tried to put a coat of that s#*t in a can on. Well it bubbled up and ran off the light faster than a fat kid running after the last Twinkie know to mankind. So I thought maybe there was something on the surface like leftover wax or something so I cleaned it up again and what do you know same thing happened. So Im starting to get a little....HIGHLY pissed off by now and decided to either screw it up or make it work. So I wet sanded it with some 180grit and tried it again for the 3rd time. Well this time it went a little bit smother, crap still wanted to bubble up in some places even after sanding it with such an aggressive grit. So I only put one coat on to avoid the situation of me making a bonfire out of them if the second coat decided to run. However since there was only one coat it is kinda blotchy in some areas but not noticeable at a distance. So in conclusion I am about 75% satisfied with them and probably will redo them at the meet if I can somehow come across some actual VHT.

But anyhow now that you all have wasted a small portion of your life that you will never get back by entertaining my incoherent babble I shall enlighten you with some pictures.
