    fab tech stage 2 the kit calls for 17x8 w/4 5/8 '' bs/ i wanna buy kmc-xd spy's 17x8 6x5.5 os 18mm bs 4.53'' im clueless as what the hell most of that shit means except 17x8:confused:

    And 18 mm offset on an 8" wide whel is NOT 4.5" BS, it is 5.25" BS.

    Okay on a 9" wide wheel 18 offset is 5.75" BS.

    If you want 4.5" BS, you need zero offset on an 8" wide wheel, or -12 offset on a 9" wide wheel

    cab mount chop doesnt sound good???is there a rim size better fit for what i want? my local garage is doing the mods if that matters

    Nope that's pretty much the ideal rim. The need for some minor modification comes from wanting to run 35s instead of 33s. What I would do to get a better feel for what's needed is to check out our builds section and find folks with 6" lift and 35s and see what they had to cut.

    I don't suspect that will give you much hp based on what other people have experienced.

    Are you going to regear with the 35s? That would be a lot more worth it than the CAI and cat back for a little better acceleration.

    any suggestions on gearing i only want to do this once and im really considering the s/c dependig on how it runs i have 33's now and it runs real good cant imagine 35's would b that different
