4XI has them on clearance anyways because they are disco'ing 1st gen bumpers.

With that new job I landed i will be able to get some new shit for the taco..including some armor.

4xi is more crawlerish, and avid is more prerunnerish...dont know which one I like.

 

yeah...idk which one I like. Price is similar. I dont plan on running a winch...

But neither bumper has recovery points. My stock ones are all fucked up.

The 4xi bumper looks beefier though.

Both companies use US steel, made in USA...so its a hard decision

I think the picture I put up the stinger is actually larger than the one that is production for 4xi, and that guy got his custom larger.

looks like the avid has a front hitch mount. that'd be fine for a shackle.

 

All Poo actually makes a good first gen bumper as well

 

I thought so at first too, but that is a separate front hitch that they also sell. But The holes in the frame where the stock recovery points mount are are jacked up, so nothing can be mounted there anymore.

But, I am not sure where their front hitch mounts. Most front hitches mount to the four holes on the under side of the frame.

Gotta find out for sure

 

theirs is only compatible with their own skids Otherwise i would consider them. I will have to run my stock skids for a while until I get better ones.

 

i can make any skid compatible with their bumper

 

All pro's bumper also utilizes the four bolt holes on the bottom of the frame where mine are jacked up.
