I think he's talking about the cubbie hole things in the bed.

From what I have seen they are good for making people ask questions and a place to put bed lights.
but yeah they ain't supposed to fall out.

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
Are you referring to the bed? Just storage compartments, they shouldn't just fall out. Is this a new problem or have you had the problem since you got the truck (is there a previous owner)?

Those cups snap into the side, if removed improperly the snaps... Snap haha! Anyway whoever removed them, for whatever reason, took them out incorrectly. I accidentally broke one snap off when I was putting in my rear diff breather mod.

I've read the reason those are there was because Toyota needed some way to lift the beds onto the truck on the assembly line, and that's where the robot was designed to grab them. So they just filled in the space with some "storage" compartments. No sources on this though, I'm pretty sure I saw it on here.

I put marine speakers in mine. So when I'm lounging in the back @ a meet or after riding or working on the truck I have something to listen to. I seriously do too. lol

I keep a couple of bungee cords in mine, at least during Summer months...handy for securing coolers of fish and other stuff. Like someone said here, it sounds like someone forcibly removed yours and broke the "tabs" that snap into place.
