    Thanks for the feedback man. Tom got back to me via email, and offered to sell me just the rear. I just may bite off of your truck, lower the rear then adjust the coils down. Does it sit pretty level like that?

    600ppi is the basically the minimum needed to pic the front end up. Finding a higher ppi in a 3" diameter that is also 12" tall could be done. I had a little bit of a rough time I remember. When I was looking for say a 700ppi with those specs, it was a bit hard to find. I know that King didn't have them.

    Wow OP, nice work. I never considered dropping my Tacoma. Your new look is reminiscent to me of a Toyota version of the GMC Syclone. I like it! I'd love to see an access cab in all black do the same.

    Looks good man!! Really clean. Sorta a waste of money for the 4x4 option but if your doing 1/4 mi. races than that seems like a sleeper (minus the flaps). Other than that somebody mentioned the GMC Syclone (very comparable with a supercharger.)

    You are,"seeing inconsistencies" with my "logic" because you clearly don't understand the perpective which I was trying to illustrate.

    So you were completely off about how I think a lowered truck performs. I do not blame you though.

    If you noticed, the word lowered that I originally used was in quotation marks. Of course they are not lowered trucks, that is just silly. And yes, I am fully aware of how and why they are constructed the way they are. I am no newb to Trophy, Monster, Mud Bogger, King of the Hammer, style trucks.

    The point of reference which I clearly did not realize that I needed to fully explain in detail, until now, was to compare to vehicles on opposite sides of the spectrum. Which I figured any competent individual would have done. Take a Trophy truck and sit it next to a Mud Bogger made to race through deep mud pits. Based on stance of the trophy truck and sheer height of the Mud Bogger, the Trophy truck will merely "look" or "seem" lowered comparatively. That is all.

    However, they are both purpose built vehicles, and perform exceedingly well in their intended avenues. The look is simply a by-product of its function.

    That relates to Roxspin's build, as he is making his more functional. The lowered stance and look are now products of what he is striving for. A powerful, well handling (mainly) On-Road Truck. :thumbsup:

    Yes it does actually. I am running QA1 coilovers right now. The work with the strut adapter for the ProComp coilovers. Just not the best fit down where they mount on the lower control arm. Thus why I am planning on upgrading to the King Shocks. Currently the springs I have are 2.5" diameter. I know there are some out there that are 700ppi with that dimension.

    Being that you can adjust the ride height with the spanner wrench and some lube, you can get it really close.

    My friend Toon's PreRunner is perfectly level. I think the rear leaves are slightly different though. His sits lower in the rear than mine. :confused:
