yeah the body is pretty similar to the pro-line flo-tec body but so is the jconcepts highflow. theres enough "differences" in all three than no one gets in trouble. I dont really care though lol doesn't take away from the platform and i still think the body looks sweet lol.

 

This is the link to my "build" thread for the track. In the process of uploading photos (may take a while my internet sucks goat balls). I got a little bit done today. Just kind of outlined the track with some old pieces of wood I had lying around. Gonna finish that up and mow it down super close tomorrow.

Knock off or not, that SCT looks pretty badass. I wonder how durable it is, though.

 

The distributor said to expect it to have a lot of aluminum upgrades and big bore shocks for the US version.

I think its being marketed more as a racer but I'll test the durability when I get it. Hopefully it holds up to my "style" of racing/bashing lol

I've probably spent 15x the amount of time fixing my Nitro Rustler than actually running it..

 

x2 on my Jato. I'm convinced it's just a worthless POS.

 

When I do eventually get it running, the gears will probably melt from the 3.3 engine, thus adding more time to fix the damn thing.

 

I'm about to order a whole transmission for mine...

This sticker is dangerous and inconvenient, but I do love Fig Newtons.

 

I ran the new motor dry a couple of weeks ago after trying to break in the new engine.. the throttle wouldn't completely open up, so I gave up after 10 or so minutes. I didn't put any additives in the fuel or anything since it's been sitting so I'm probably fucked.

You mean the carburetor wasn't opening up all the way?

 

Yeah, wasn't thinking straight. It would only open up halfway because the wires were blocking it from opening up any further.. at least I think I fixed it turning them around.. I'm hoping the upper chassis isn't blocking it now.
