Now I have LR UCA's, Maxtrac Spindles, Eibach's, 5100's up front, Expos, 5160 for the rear, U Bolt Flip Kit, and Extended Brake lines.
Well I was poking back and found this. Also noticed a thread was deleted. Let's see if they will honor The GB price or this was...
Hope it works out. And for the people that already have committed.

You do know that the 'old' spindles were like 575 or something from maxtrac right?

Yes, something around that. The only reason I was first interested was because of the GB price.
Like.someone already mentioned here. The price was already set. It's not our fault they where bad. I would like to say how I really feel but I'm not going to blah it out here on the message board.
I'm going to end it on that point before I say something else. I know Bob is reading this.

I started the install last night by changing the brake lines cause I knew something might happen! The drivers side came of easy after a few coats of the PB blaster stuff. Passenger side to the frame also easy. But the flare but to the caliper hard line was
Stuck and I rounded of the nut. I took the hard line off the caliper and it looked like it was cross threaded. I had to put it into a vise to get the hose and hard line apart! Either way going to the store to get new hard line and flare nuts. So be carefully with those brake lines!

And yes I am...lol... Please remember that the group buy was done by a shop that buy's our product. We do not sell to the public like I have said several times and Jacob was nice enough to not make much on these spindles so you guy's can get a deal... I think the Gb was for a maximum of 20 sets of spindles but only a maximum of 9 people signed up. So to go back and say or get mad about something I think is wrong. Please don't take a good thing like a group buy and trash it. Shops like Jacob will not want to do it again...

The last official list for the group buy was as follows:
    1. Gregero
    2. 707tothe907
    3. MRW3685
    4. 05SCTACO
    5. Rakso
    6. Colton
    7. CutcoEJ
    8. 4Runner120
    9. RJALLDAY702

    Early November:
lbchronical was first to get spindles and had issues.
    707tothe907 backed out
    Colton backed out
    DOWN TO 7.
    November 7:
    Redesigned spindles. Buy on hold.
    November 9:
    05SCTACO backed out
    DOWN TO 6.
    November 11:
New spindle to lbchronical and works perfectly.
    Novmeber 21:
    JAG on the list
    MARCMFM007 on the list
    UP TO 8.
    1. Gregero
    2. MRW3685
    3. Rakso
    4. CutcoEJ
    5. 4Runner120
    6. RJALLDAY702
    7. JAG
    8. MARCMFM007

    Early January:
10 sets hit Jacob at suspension specialist and all 10 are bought by Jan 20 at group buy rate. Group buy done. (2 more unknowns added to group buy for 10)
    January 19:
False statement by Yahamaha73 about our spindles costing 700. WRONG. MAXTRACBOB never gave a 700 price - we are WHOLESALERS guys, we sell to the shop. You want a price, call one of the dealers on our website. You want a group buy price, start an official group buy list, alert a dealer (Such as Jacob) and get something set in stone.
Price corrected to an estimated 549.99 for new spindles at non-group buy rate. ******REMEMBER, WE DO NOT SET PRICING FOR YOU GUYS, THAT IS UP TO THE DEALERS THAT YOU CONTACT TO FIND THE BEST PRICE. This 549.99 price was mentioned because someone found the spindles for that much somewhere. Where? I don't know, but call around and ask.
False statement by Moelov - NO THE SPINDLES ARE NOT $599 - $700. Again, read thread, call dealers, ask questions, then post. Please.
No one who was not mentioned on that group buy list should expect a group buy price... am I wrong, moelov?

    NOW THE REMEDY: :)
I'd suggest starting a new group buy list for those still interested... Get to an actual 20 people for our new batch and see what Jacob at Suspension Specialists can do.

To all those who have gotten our spindles... THANK YOU!!!!! You guys rock and I hope everything works out well for all of you and thank you very much for the super positive feedback. We're in for the long haul so let us know what else we can do to help!

    Mr. Engineer,

    1. I don't appreciate been called a liar or suggest that I mislead. I'm just responding to thread#347 by "Yamaha73", quote:

"Well if the price is going to be at 700 im just gonna get the camburg spindles but if they go back down to the original group buy price id be in" ,

So in my response I was shocked. I did mention from $599~$700. Please go back and read it. Thread #360
"What! After all this BS THEY ARE $599~$700 What happened with the G.B. price?"

    2. The GB stopped because of the Fit issue/Recall. That's why a lot of people either backed out or wanted to just wait till we got further info from Bob "Maxtrax".

Look, It appears you are on the defense. We, TW messageboard members / Tacoma fanatics want to get the story right and especially want to see your product succeed. This way we would have an alternative product at a wallet saving price.

I wish everyone good luck, and lets make this happen.

Not on the defense and didn't mean to call anyone a liar... just correcting statements made.

1... I did quote you directly so I did go back and read it. And I did go over Yamaha's statement as well - I believe he was including a quoted installation price, however.

    2. Definitely understandable.

Clearing up the story is what I was doing. Hoping for a fresh start to another possible group buy for these spindles. I don't care how you guys get em, as long as you do and you end up loving em. Again, I apologize if you thought I was referring to you as a liar, just trying to cover all statements and bases.

PS... MAKE SURE TO POST TONS OF PICTURES OF INSTALLS!

    Good,
You guys know what to do to make this right.
This can be a win/win situation or brake. I cant promise TW is going to make you rich, BUT you will definitely make a lot of sales now and into the future from our Recommendations.

    Thanks.

P.S. Can someone that has purchased the Spindle, Can you make a new Post in the Suspension Link of TW and Title it ??? "Maxtrac Spindles". Also post pics, tips and...

    Thank you.

This was a very interesting read for me. Mainly because I purchased a set of these exact same spindles (also came with break lines) off of eBay. They are a exact match, down the the lettering at the top of the spindles. They were advertised as "Rugged Trail 4" lift spindles". I paid for them over a month ago. I received them yesterday. I was told they were on back order, and later was told about a redesign of the spindle itself.

Here is the part that made me happy that I was dealing with a good company. I originally paid $429.00 for the spindles with brake lines. After reading this thread, I am happy to say that the original price I paid never changed, even after the redesign. If you go on eBay now, the price has been jacked up by over $200.00. Now they have them up for $650.00.

I guess this means that I got an awesome deal. :D

For those saying these things are beefy. The box had a shipping weight of 82lbs. Yes, they are beefy.
