how can you perform maintenance of the system if you cant buy the individual parts? I would not expect this to be under a warranty consideration for more than a couple months. After that if something fails I would like to know I have a source to purchase repair parts from.

My point was, buying parts for an existing setup is different then someone wanting to buy the individual parts without having first purchased a setup.

If something fails or doesn't work right after purchase or installation, I will do whatever I can to help the customer get the kit functioning the way it is supposed to. If that means me taking a hit on the cost of new/extra parts, then I'm happy to do it. My goal is to make available a functional mod that is as affordable and easy to install as possible, and to make sure that every customer is satisfied.

Almost all the parts can be purchased individually from various sources, except for the window bracket and the modified regulator assembly. If either of those two parts fail after normal, proper installation and use, send it back to me and I will do my best to repair or replace as necessary.

jhodge, I'm not exactly sure how many kits have been installed. I have personally installed 4, and I have heard feedback from somewhere around a dozen folks who have successfully installed their kits themselves. That just accounts for those whom I have heard feedback from though.

There are a number of installed pics floating around in other threads.

I did it and it works like a champ. I love it.

For those who worry about parts failure. Its like any other window motor you have. Do you take your door panels off and service the motors? If it dies, we fix it.

There was a small issue with the bracket that was in my kit. BenWA sent me a new one with a self-addressed (and postage) envelope to return the old part. It was fast, easy, and friendly. He has since fixed the issue for all his brackets.

BenWa, even helped me install it on his vacation back east.

I don't doubt him, the mod, or his service.

Maybe 10 years from now, I'll need help, but I'll deal with it then. Even so, I'm betting BenWA is hanging around in this thread or TW with a new Taco modding.

Keep up the great work, Ben! I'll be a positive reference if you need one.

    Greg
