I recently put some treadwright retread tires on her. I got the 285 guard dogs with kedge grip and love them. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

I bought this setup from a criagslist ad I found on here. The "Norcal Craigslist" forum. Paid $1200 Installed for the Fox's plus I had the guy order up some Dakars and new Ubolts from OME, which i paid $450 for. All together I threw down about $2K for a full new setup. I guess the Fox's are a few model years old, but brand new in the box. The ride quality is amazing. Coming from spacers and blocks on the stock suspension, this feels awesome! Can't wait to go hit the hills and get her dirty!

Yup. It's next on the list.

 

Now that's a super simple mod I might have to do, even with stock tires/wheels, looks really nice. Spider trax, right?

Does that improve cornering or handling at all?

 

Had my first "free" oil change today, paid the $30 difference for Mobil 1 synthetic so it wasn't fully free.

Also had them replace the blower fan. Which of course, stopped chirping just yesterday! But, they're good people and replaced anyway.

Then took it for a free car wash, compliments of dealership.

Looks good! Been thinking of doing the same. What size are those Duratracs? And any issues with rubbing after the spacers?

 

Fitted some prototype Relentless skids to my truck.

 

Got the oil changed and while driving home, heard a whining/whistling sound coming from under the hood. Popped the hood and there was oil everywhere and dripping underneath!

Found the source of the sound. The guy at the Valvoline service center had left a "catch" can full of oil underneath the oil filter and it dropped down and got caught in the belt near my alternator. Subsequently, it slung oil everywhere and was making that horrible noise.

I removed the can, and quickly drove back to the station where I personally watched them spit-shine the engine compartment and give me a full refund for the oil change and air filter.

Crazy...oh yeah, I bought a BedRug too.....

 

Sweet deal, I've got the same tire. Good to know when I get to that point I wont have to worry about rubbing.
