Ok so here is the deal, I am looking at getting a plate bumper here very soon but cant decide on which route to take. So I thought I would ask for input and pictures of people who already have the bumpers that I am interested in and any advice people may have. Here is what I am looking at getting:

    OR

Here is how I look at each one:

The first one is made by Brute Force. Pros: I like the center hoop with side supports, the high lift cut outs, and that it is compatible with OEM fogs. Cons: i dont like how it doesnt seem to follow the body contour very well in the fender area. This may just be due to the angle of the pictures I have seen, as it is not very noticeable in the picture above. I also do not care for the triangular cut outs in the front plate, both above and below the winch cable slot. Mostly the lower ones.

The second is by DeMello Offroad. Pros: I like the center hoop and that it flows with the body very well. Cons: I do not care for the "D O" in the front plate, though I understand that this can be left filled or custom cut. But the main reason I have not already ordered this one is because it is not compatible with stock fogs.

Anyway, if you have em, or have info on them I would love to hear it. Thanks for your help.

I'd go with Billy @ Bruteforce fab, does awesome work and is very responsive to customers needs.

I like my Demello but havent installed fogs yet. I live in an area that the local LEOs are very particular about license plate fitment so I actually bought a plastic bracket to put my license plate on which covers the DO. No disrespect to the company, just don't want to get pulled over for having my plate facing the ground.

Not sure how far you are from Nevada but I believe Relentless is located there maybe you could order from him and save a buttload on shipping by driving down to pick up. Just a thought.

I can put whatever cutouts you would like in the front bumper or leave them all out if you wish..It's all up to you..:) I'm not sure about the body contour thingy as far as what you mean and all..lol..DeMello makes a nice product as well as do the other vendors on here..

DO just looks nicer IMO. I like the circle cutouts better and not a fan of the hoop support braces on the other. The only think I don't like about the DO bumper is that I couldn't use my stock fogs that I spent a lot of time converting to HID projectors. If the DO bumper would support my OEM's I would have placed an order by now. Just my dim witted personal opinion though :D.

In the picture above, the bumper seems to stop dead even under the edge of the fender flare which to me is what a properly fitting bumper should do. But I have seen other pictures where it seems to extend into the fender an inch or so. Which to me doesn't look right. Was it installed incorrectly? I'll try and dig some up so as to possibly explain better. It also looks as though yours wraps around the bumper in two places to follow the contour of the headlight. One straight out from the fender, then one at an angle below the headlight where the fog light housing is. Which is why I was leaning to DeMello who does it in three, but the more I look, the more I like function over form. And since you build ones that house the stock fogs and have high lift points... I'm kinda leaning towards you. And I decided a long time ago I want a rear bumper from you so why not get a matching set? what would it cost to have custom cut outs in the front? And what is the idea behind the holes anyway? Somewhere to reach in and remove debris? And how much farther than the stock bumper do yours come off the front? My garage is only barely big enough as it is right now. I only have a few more inches to play with.

Here are some of the pictures I was talking about. they are from Tervanun's gallery. I do realize that the flares have been removed and that that may make a difference.

I have nothing against Brute Force or DeMello but when I order my front bumper it’s going to be from Relentless. I currently have Relentless back bumper and sliders and both are very high quality. Plus Eric is super helpful and his business is local to me. Like Krimson said, Relentless FTW!

I do like the relentless bumper, I just like the two above more. Thinking real serious about the brute force right now.

Is the DO bumper attached to the bottom sub frame at all?

Out of the 2 choices, I would say the Brute. just my $.02. I like Relentless fabs bumpers too, don't count him out if you haven't yet decided.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
I've seen a lot of bumpers first hand and Elite & Relentless have the best looking bumpers on the market not to mention the quality of a small fab shop. I've noticed the bigger company's cutting corners using thinner steel can not fully blending the welds.
