depends on the design of the spindles. If there is no curvature from the hub to the upper pivot, then you most likely will need less backspacing

 

Stock Sport wheels will rub on Camburg 4" spindles, I tried it.

 

I see, well I'm thinking those MaxTrac spindles that were in the GB before, they are 4" but can't find any more specs than that...I'm assuming similar to camburgs tho. I'd prolly have to use the spacers but I don't wanna mess up my fenders...though I'm not sure the spacers would make that difference...hm...seems like I might have to try it and see how it looks when I get there...hehe

 

IIRC, they test fitted it on a 100% stock truck, so Im guessing the stock wheels worked. I cant be sure tho

THats because of the spindle not the whole beam

 

Yeah but the beam puts that more stress on the spindle especially when jumping and landing on the sidewall of your tire

 

true, and Ford snouts are tiny so that doesn't help

 

Pretty sure the biggest drawback to beams is the dirty hooker travel when compared to the hot librarian travel of A arms

 

and the steering hangs right down in front of the whole truck

Sorry I haven't started looking at the rear yet, but are the f67's good for a 2nd gen? That price seems great and its close to me.

And it says 3 runs on them, I assume it means hard runs do you think they are still good?

 

F67's are meant for 6-Lug 1st Gen. Although TC uses them with their 5-Lug 2nd Gen LT kit.

I think a 2nd Gen (6-Lug) would be too heavy.

 

Guys I'm really starting to get fed up with a few shops. I've emailed and called 2 separate shops at least 3 times each for a simple price quote and its been over a week... Its like no one wants my money Is there a holiday week i missed or something big going on in the race / offroad community this past week that would cause this?

 

Some shops just don't have the best customer service.

But if you get the bro behind the counter (every shop has one) then you'll never get anywhere.
