Tacoma Moab Meet 2012!!!!

Hey all....so do you all think that I should try to get some skid plates done before the trip too? I don't have the cash to blow on buds or anything but I know i need some protection below but also don't know where to start. Any ideas?

You got skids? Some that I could get for cheap and put on out there? And what are we talking cash wise?

 

No IFS skids just rear diff skids at the moment.

 

Bummer. That seems to be about the only part of the underside that I don't hit.

Oh trust me I do I just know where to pick my lines so I don't have to hit it. But I do foresee myself scraping everything while were out there. I'm gonna push the truck to see what I can do. I've never been one that won't try something at least once.

 

jerry is always a great source for TW members and glad to have him participate in the gathering...

with the help of jerry and our other sponsors, we're trying to keep the costs down for all attendees and getting some goodies together for some lucky attendees to take home..

we are working to make sure we have all permits required for a raffle for some great prizes...raffle ticket purchase information will be filled in as we move down the road..

I think you should still charge for shirts maybe make a little profit and donate it to charity in Tacoma Worlds name

Or donate it to down south motor sports soccer team for there trip

 

TW was not willing to work with us for the event, so i don't think that would be the right choice...a donation in the name of this event and attendees and sponsors would be a better choice in my opinion..

donations can be given to Area BFE for the use of their land..

other donations to consider would be to stay the trail and other organizations that put countless time into fighting for the use of trails and cleanup so that we can enjoy this hobby...

so that can be something to consider when determining the price of t-shirts and where the proceeds will go

 

as of right now, t-shirts are still a separate cost and will be handled separately...things may change as more sponsors step up so i cannot say for certain.

 

Works for me any foundation that has to fight with blm deserve more than we can give them

 

I'm up for paying a little more for the shirts knowing that the money will be put to use to preserve the sport we all enjoy.

 

I like that idea. That way a couple of shirts can be donated with the profit and the sponsors can get a few for their willingness to put up with all of us.
