    i have heard way more bad stories about glassworks that fiberwerx. but i think glassworks does have better glass.

    so my shock towers are fucked.. so im building shock hoops for 8 inch coil overs..... should i say fuck it, sell the 8s and buy 10s or 12s? but that means its just that much longer that my truck sits there and wishes it can be driven.... but much smoother. i already have someone that will buy my coilovers for a fair price

    Your arms are only going to cycle to what they can. 8's should be fine with proper valving and spring rate...

    Maybe I'm missing your reasoning here Eric

    well with a 10 inch or 12 inch coilover i can run a dual rate spring, like a 550 over 600 i think is what ill need. then my shock will also have more oil volume in it so it will take more to over heat the oil and dissipate the shock dampening.

    i go through big woops at 60+ for long periods of times so shock over heating is a pretty big thing on my mind for me

    go for the 10s, if you are making hoops for 8s I think it is a waste of time. The end product with the 10s will be that much better

    IMHO It wouldn't worth it with your current set up. Kit doesn't pull big numbers.

    thats what im saying. for the same price and a little more waiting time i can get 10s with a dual rate spring and be that much smoother
    i know the kit doesnt pull big numbers, but since i already need to make hoops for 8s why not just make it for 10s so i can get that dual rate?

    yeah man energy drinks promote that shit.

    If you can run 12 run those I've heard with the 10s that it can be an awkward length where u can't get a good enough size spring on the top like 12s
    Is this true?

    i wonder how hard it will be to run 12s with still having wheel wells. i dont mind cutting smashing or doing what ever i need to do. ill run what ever i can get. i figured im going to let my truck sit for a while and get it where it needs to be instead of rushing into things..... lol

    why do that when you can run a 10 or a 12 with dual rate springs though you know what i mean? almost the same cost and better performance. pointless to do all that work to fit this 8 inch when i can just do a 10 or 12.

    its like doing tons of work for a spring over set up. why do that when you can go spring under and it will be better.
