like others...i think the location of the clock on the 1st gen is rediculous. Its not visible by the driver at all. has anyone attempted to add a clock in the open space next to the vent (above the radio)? I'd love to do this but i'm not sure how to go about it. first i'd have to find a digial clock that is just the right size....then i'd have to get power to it somehow. i'm not afraid if taking apart/running wires. i've done the cup holder LED mod and the switchback LED turn signal/DTRL mod...both came out great. i just need to know where the best power source would be for a clock.

i'm on the hunt for the right clock to use. hopefully someone has some suggestions.

    thanks all

Best bet would be a aftermarket deck

I'm having trouble visualizing this space... Do you not have a passenger airbag switch?

That's correct, mine doesn't... Guess it's because the kids are supposed to be sitting in the back, and you can actually secure a child seat in them.

Eh, I have an xtra cab and the throne my daughter sits in fits in the back (with the use of the cup holder/child seat extender).
