Very cool show. Extremely creative & has a nice balance of SI-FI, adventure, & drama.

Personally I think they should have ended it two years ago; The last episode when Jack was in L.A. & Lock was in the coffin. That would have been the PERFECT ending!!!!!

i use to love it, now i just like it. but i am definitely addicted. it was cooler before it got all weird. now there's invisible ghost rulers, and the island can "move" and it talks to Lock. its just getting too weird to follow, which is really upsetting. AND I STILL DONT KNOW WHAT THE HELL TAHT DAMN SMOKE MONSTER IS!!!

It is some sort of advanced security system, but we probably won't know for sure to the last season.

yeah, i've gathered that much, but i wanna know more about it. since Micheal Chrichton (sp) was supposedly a ghost writer before he died i'm thinking it might be nano machines. he wrote a book called "prey" where nano machines acted like that and got hostile and moved in a swarm like that. pretty good book if you haven't read it. anyway, my guess is they are nano machines
