hey guys, i don't post in here much ( not at all really), but i'm going to start!

Rode around Wharton a bit yesterday, i guess it was wharton. went past Atco Raceway and at the next bend to the left i made a right into the trail, followed a few and came out back at the raceway entrance. (some nasty black mud by raceway entrance)

the trails seem pretty nice from the 3 i went down and from what i could see peeking down the others.

    Yes, that is Wharton.

Just be careful. There are holes in those trails that will eat your truck.

That black mud you speak of wasn't there last year and that's why 4x4 guys get treated like criminals. Some assholes get drunk at the track then think their mall crawlers are the shit and go across the street to scar up the land making us all look bad.

About 1/4 mile before that entrance/exit with the mud is the first hole that got water in my cab :D

So last night i did some work on the truck..

Finally got my Boztec rear diff skid installed. It definitely does not fit as well as everyone else's, but I tested it on an fj with an 8" rear and it doesn't fit at all, so my theory that maybe they sent me the wrong skid is false. Definitely is for an 8.4" rear, but after some grinding it fits better.

Then I pursued my thought that I had a leak in my on board air system, so I sprayed simple green on all the fittings and found some bubbles. took it apart and put a few more wraps of teflon tape, now no leak.

THEN... I decided to pop the cover off my t case actuator to try and get my 4wd working. It is still nice and clean from the last time I took it apart, but to be safe I wiped it all out and put more dielectric grease in it. Then I sprayed wd40 on all the electrical connections and then dielectric grease and plugged everything back in.

Tried the 4wd and it got into 4hi, but the light keeps flashing. Normally to get it out I flip it to 2Hi and turn off the truck. when I start it back up, it disengages. This time... it won't disengage.

So my truck is stuck in 4Hi.

dam dude that blows. you should just drive it into a Wharton puddle and write it off. A little hydrolock goes a long way.
