It's an attempt to define the Republican party as Rush robots. You prop up someone who is easily villified, associate him with the entire party to make the party look less appealing, and make him out to be in control (if he were really in control, we wouldn't have gotten McCain as our presidential candidate).

I think it'll backfire though. Rush holds a lot of sway with his audience and he's on the radio nationwide for 3 hours every day. It's much easier for him to speak out against Obama than it is for Obama to speak out about him every day. Obama singling him out will push more people to tune in and hear what Rush is saying (other than the true, diehard Obamanauts).

My favorite excerpt from that article that, to me, proves that PBO has no intentions of actually helping those who need it the most:

my dad has been a hardcore listener ever since Rush was on the air. He reminds me of one of those tv evangelists. sometimes i dont know if hes really as conservative as he puts on or if its an act just to exploit the hardcore conservatives. i dunno, i've had to listen to him for years and i just cant loose that "greasy" feeling when i hear his voice

I agree with him but I don't listen to the show. Mostly because there's too many commercials.

Rush, Hannity and the like are all just puppet for the Republican Party, just the same on the other side of the isle. They are both pushing the agenda that benefits them most. Which is why we need a third party, IMO. Language, Borders, and Culture is what a country should be based on, along with morals and ethics. And in my opinion the "Fairness Doctrine" is part of the socialist agenda, because the way the Democrats wanted to empliment it was (because now one listens to predominatly democrat radio programs) that every radio show would have to have an oposing opinion, thus them shoving there view down your throat. When they nationalize the banks we are all fucked. And this "steal-from-us" package. Obama or as some as you may refer to him, The Messiah, he had 350 million left from when Bush was in office, then he want 800 million more and now asking for more. If they would have distibuted the Obama's first steal-from-us pakage equaly to every one in america we would have all gotten around $9,500 each. Bush was not the best and Obama is worse, shit I think I would have voted for Perot this past election (really like Ron Paul).

Check this out. Notice the reporters start acting like this guy is crazy just because he dare question the almight Barak HUSSEIN Obama.
