I would say if you do not have the $ to spend on more expensive springs that OME or 5100's would be the way to go for light off-road as Icon, King, Fox are specced more racing type shock/struts...

All those coilover assemblies give a 3" lift?

What if you want to have only a small lift, run basically stock tires and have an ARB or other bumper, which coilovers would be the way to go?

I'd look at something like Eibach coils. They give you 1.5" of lift and have a heavy spring rate. With the ARB, I'd bet you'd settle down to just above stock height (probably under an inch over stock height). Just a guess, I haven't done this myself.

Also, talk to a retailer like Downsouth. Those coilovers listed are adjustable, I don't know what height they ride it if the preload is the lowest it can go.

the coil over shocks are adjustable up to 3''. You can adjust based on your preference.

    What he said.

Budget should dictate what you get. Heavy dusty springs will provide a little, but if you set them at 0, you should be perfect

This ^^ is correct. You can adjust the preload based on the weight you are carrying, and the ride height you want. You can correct future sag as well. They are the most expensive option and the best. I run mine with an ARB winch and 2" of lift.

I'm not sure , but I think Pugga is right. I have the ARB bumper with winch and the OME 886 with top plate from TOYTEC . Some how I'm 1 to 1 1/2 inchs lower that everybody else that has a 3" lift. I parked one day close to a guy that had the same car with the same lift but NO bumper, he was over one inch taller. Ether my car has some manufacter defects or Pugga is right. The pictures are without the top plate.

    20" ?

    I have 22 1/2" with 885's no spacers .

No chance you have Eibachs and not 886's ?

Edit : that's ground to rocker panel you measured , yes ?

ultimate lift kit ( toytec ) ome dakar leaf pack , w/ extended length billies, LR uca's, Pro comp 7089s, KM2's 285 70 17, neoprene seat covers, weather techs, CBI sliders w/kickout, URD ss, cab mount chop, VHT night shade tint>tails,3rd B-light. Debadged. Grillecraft grille, rear diff breather mod. CBI Moab front bumper, warn M8000 winch, HID kragens 7", Hella's micro fogs. retrofit headlights HIDS, LED solutions maps/license! 886 back up light mod,
I have the Toltec adjustable coil overs and they handle my Cbiplate bumper and warn m-8000 winch just fine, granted I have them adjusted to 23 1/4 which is just over 3" of lift. They are a little stiff but I don't do any serious offroading. I do moderate trails and I flex the truck and my front end does get to bouncing. Months later they have not settled and are holding up fine.
As far as the best coil overs go, can't go wrong with the ome set up or a special application from DSM. Comes down to how much you want to spend.

Yes , the measurement is from the ground to driver rocker panel.

That's about 3-3 1/4" over stock , which is about right for 886's with the ARB bumper and winch .

if you look closely you can see the rubbing on the front fender in the back also if you install coilovers you will not bottom out while having the Arb bumper installed. my buddy just had oem front struts with the aarb bumper and went thru 2 front shocks in one summer bumper is heavy with the winch also

x2. I'm about 21" - 21-1/4" with Eibach coils (about 1.5" of lift) and you're 2 inches taller than me.
