    Hey guys and gals,
I've been lurking the forums hardcore the last 3 or 4 days and figured it's time to join up since I just put money down on my first ever Tacoma.

Picking up my first ever Toyota on Tuesday...it's a 2004 DC SR5 with only 81k on it. It's white, which I don't much care for yet...but I think it will grow on me. It's in really good shape with very minimal rust...which up here in Maine is hard to find! I have scoured the internet looking everywhere from Maine to Mass comparing prices and found the absolute best combination of price and miles just down the road from me.

I'm buying the Yota, not for a daily driver but for weekend fun as I have wheelers, boats and snowmobiles that I haul around. Up until this past week I had a Wrangler that I used, but it was a 5speed and the lady of the house didn't like it. So off goes the Wrangler and in comes the Tacoma!

I've been scouring the site looking for tips on mods and the such...I've found more than enough to keep me busy for a while!

I've added this forum to my list of daily vists! Look forward to talkin to you guys!

EDIT: well hows that for a first post...some how I ended up in the wrong forum....sorry guys! Hopefully a mod will move this over when they see it!

That's awesome, getting our TW cherries broken at the same time haha! I'm up in Belfast, I just found your thread in the new members section...I see you were smart enough to get your post into the right forum...unlike me! Damn I even used the same thread title as you...Mainers think a like! I didn't even see your thread until just now haha!

I've been looking around on here for a Maine group or some people who organize group drives and stuff. Something up north, Eustis, Millinocket, etc would be fun on all the backwoods roads. We'll have to keep each other posted.
