Morning All...need to wake the missus up so we can go to the grandson's school for his science exhibit...then to the gym for a bit then home to straighten up a bit cause we have the grandkids for pool night(indoor pool) and sleep over. fun fun fun....Ken

same here. found other grooved stones, but never a tomahawk.

years ago, a stone retaining wall for a small stream in the local park collapsed. one of the local guys found one sticking out of the exposed bank. the area we live in is infested with indian relics.

 

The whole USA is full of stuff if you look in the right places, The red man was here a good 25 years or so before the white eyes showed up..Ill never stop looking for that toma head out there with my name on it.... Jim

 

finally received other carb today: refused home delivery, and arranged to pick up at fedex office, so I could open the package there, right on counter. if any damage was done in shipping, or parts missing, I wasn't going to be told that I did it, and that it had been shipped in perfect shape, and all the parts were on it. I locked the barn before the horse got out! I know there would have been a big problem with the seller if that carb would have been damaged in shipping, or it had missing parts. I made sure he wouldn't have had a leg to stand on.

 

...and all is in working order?

 

Probably more like 25,000 years before the white eyes showed up! A good part of my family is MicMac from Canada so I guess I'm an old Indian relic too!

for Chet today.

So my wife and I are driving to dinner last night and she says "I want to change the color of the ceiling". Paint store opens at 10:00 today. I will be there. Should only take two hours and cost $52.

Best she told me before the floor was down and the furniture back in the room. I will need to delay the installation of the blinds a few days.

I hate to paint.

 

morning i need to build a new bonfire the brother burned some of it down the other night. but i think it’s going to rain agin today. maybe i’ll wash and wax the truck at moms work. i can pull it in side a building and have really hot steaming water. lol i need to clean the under side to from mid jan when they put salt down one day.

 

Lord please be with our Brother Jim and his wife today as they travel to Tampa. Work through them, and give them strength, that they might provide comfort to Chet and his family as they struggle against the Devil Cancer.

morning everyone. Good luck with the painting Tom.

 

Susan: Painting still sucked. So instead of being finished I have 1 coat on the trim/doors and 1 coat on the ceiling.

I will try to finish up tomorrow but I have the carpenter in tomorrow.

I went to a Native Species/Habitat information session today and it was very informative. Lots of ideas that I have to incorporate into a new landscape design for the front of our home.

The biggest takway was that not all native species are equal when it comes to the number of insects it will support.

Time for the Superbowl.
