I don't think the OME kit is supposed to level the tacoma without top plate spacers. I didn't add them thinking it would be better for the suspension. Should I add the spacers when I get some UCA's to make it level? Thanks for the advice.

Spacers that small won't hurt much of anything. However they probably would take you from a world where you can squeak by without new UCA's 2.5" of lift), to one where you would need new ones (3" of lift), so your thinking is sound.

OME 90021 with 885s and top plate spacer, 2" AAL, OME rear shocks, Camburg Uniball UCAs, OME CB Drop, 285/75/16 BFG AT's on Level 8 Guardian wheels
Just installed 885s on OME shocks with the top plate on a doublecab shortbed. Currently sitting a little nose-high, but it should settle to right around level.

bumping an old thread but what size top plate spacers did you go with? 1/2" or 1/4"? I want to be level and still have a decent ride on my 4x4 DC shortbed
