    Im gonna replace my fuel filter heard that helps. And yea, maybe my truck is just different i guess.. Oh well. and its more the width that really kill mpgs more then height. But Jon who i bought these from, got 22mpg hwy still and had more armor then me..so who knows. I don't really care. Its worth it too me.

    if i do 100% highway (like going to moab) even with 33s i should get 20. i got 18.8 with about a 70/30 split. im confident. its driving around downtown and all of the useless short drives that kills it. but like i said with careful driving and light foot i can make a normal tank last 270+

    arent the 2nd gen tanks even bigger than the 1st? i honestly dont mind the power. it feels jerky and peppy in 1st gear, almost like it actually has torque (or maybe thats just the axle wrap):anonymous:

    Yea id take the power any day especially with the weight ill be adding and such. I came from an 86 toyota truck with the 22re in it that was maybe putting out like 80hp tops lol would go anywhere(didn't get good mpg tho) but DAMN when i go this truck i was like...:eek: WOW...so thats power..haha now im ready for more..:spy:

    mine is like that all the way through 3rd depending on the rpms. 4th is bad tho unless your at 3.5k and higher. 5 is just worthless sept to crusie.

    Although after i did exhaust, deckplate, plugs, airfilter and cleaned the maf when i had 31s, i didn't have to down shift to pass ppl, i had plenty of power and was getting 21 hwy. I haven't done any hwy yet really with the 33s but it ain't gonna be great i know that..

    lisa is a 6 (6 cyl, your a 10 on the other scale;)) and she got 20, and ben is a 6 and he said he can get 18. maybe your truck is just old and being difficult.

    32s are great...but..i'll never go back down now haha plus i have 3''+ of lift so 32s don't look as nice. Mike is running 2.25-2.5 give or take of lift.
