    Identify the dog breed :D

    This is Taco...she's roughly 14 months old...weighs MAYBE 40lbs

    She's a fairly nervous dog...she paces a LOT...tons of energy...enjoys bodies of water...but not moving water (hoses/showers)

The shelter said she was a boxer/lab mix when i got her but i wouldve thought she'd be bigger than this if that was the case

She does use her paws a LOT...she smacks the other dogs with them...grabs things with them...etc etc

She's super smart...knows where her bed is...when its chow time...how to sit/shake (with both hands...can switch on command) lie down, roll over...stay...come here...

I just dont know what kind of dog she is

The face and the short ears definanftly say that she is of Asian origin. I would guess.

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
Retriever/bully breed/chow. Color and shape of a retriever, coat of a chow mix, and head of a bully breed.

A buddy of mine has a golden chow mix and looks a lot like that.

I didn't read your post all the way. I would say boxer lab is close to spot on. I have a boxer and my roommate has a yellow lab. My dog uses his paws for EVERYTHING. Boxers can be pretty small too. Runts end up being 45 lbs. Mines a good size and he's only 70lbs.

Bring her on Jerry Springer and get a DNA test.

Boxer/Lab mix it appears. I have a Boxer/Greyhound mix. Big cement block head and a streamline body. Smack the ball with a bat and it's almost like she is on the other end waiting for it, she is that fast.

Nice looking dog, nervousness can be burned off with exercise. Sign up for a dog walk club. There are a few around here. Plenty of pretty ladies with their dogs there too. That way you can see who likes the leash or not. ;)

Maybe it's best to wait till she's grown up and out on her own.

After the DNA test she may want to know who her real parents are. That can be a lengthy and heart breaking experience. Her mom may have had to give her up to support her "habit". Dad was never there, he was just a brief alley encounter, he saw the line and got in it....Had he known he fathered he might of stayed but with the lack of work he needed to move on. Brothers and sisters are plentiful but resentful. The runt was always the favorite...Always getting the better share of the table scraps, more scratches behind the ears and always, ALWAYS got to ride in the front seat with the window down.

I say let it rest, enjoy her for what she is. Love as you want to be loved. We are not here to judge but to enjoy the times we have together now....who knows what tomorrow brings....

You got any pictures of her standing up? My friends have a for sure Boxer/Lab mix, and it looks nothing like your dog. It's got big bug eyes and the boxer underbite and chin... not to mention that it licks everything in sight.

my boxer doesn't have a big underbite or big bug eyes. He does love kissing though. But i do agree with you to some extent. Its got the shape of a boxer/lab mix but its gotta have chow in it somewhere.

one of their main characteristics is the way they walk on their toes...they also like to burrow

she walks on her toes and seems to like to burrow up under me on the couch

and tictacoma i wish i had time for a dog walking club...but with my schedule being what it is...i have to be content playing with her in the yard for now

    Don't have a clue what'cha got there...

Now you wanna help me?? Tell me what Annie is: her mom was a lab mix(Annie was born at a rescue in Columbia) and no telling what her dad was - she has the shading of a rottie, but her head isn't lab or rottie.
