Joben would you be able to help do the leaf switch out on my truck. I'm going to need help on it.

 

Drill and tap 2 holes on each plate. Cut off the tabs on the stock bumps... bolt to plate

I gotta swap my leafs out too, hopefully at the next mod day

 

ChuckLee, the airbags are apparently popular with the X-runner crew. I personally don't like them much ...

But I've also seen them on some expedition types. Was this guys truck a street racer or a regular/lifted type?

you has large jack stands? (y'know, bc you have a 6")

 

i was talking with john about it and he mentioned jacking the truck up to take off tires then lower the rear back down to a reasonable height. just a thought. still thinking about how we will get this done. if you have any ideas feel free to speak them?

 

forgot it was sun last night and watched soma leaky vajayjay after the game....

 

it was a lifted prerunner. he's going to be towing an enclosed trailer for business on a regular basis. was really a nice setup and done quite well.

 

Just get a couple of 4x4 chunks a foot or so and put them between the jack stand and the frame, just one piece. Dont dbl them and youll be fine. The tires would be off too

 

not a bad idea...but those springs are gonna be tall, also, you already have extended brake lines correct?

 

im not positive on the brake lines. ill have to check, i can't remember if they got changed out when i had my fabtech lift installed back in 2009

 

not going any higher right? Just different set up...break lines probably got extended with a block when done.

no no no...what he meant was, your brake lines most likely got extended WITH a block,

i was asking if you got a new on-peice extended brake line, not the block...

 

i think the fabtech lift comes with a brake line relocation bracket. I'm not sure though. I'm looking into it and go to try to get one here soon.
